I’m filling out my application to test. Which certification route do I choose?
Florida offers five certification routes. For students enrolled in Fast Track CNA Prep, you will select E-4: Other Nursing Training when completing your application. Instructions will also be reviewed during class to ensure proper completion of your application.
Can I take your course if I live out of state?
Yes. You may take the course and become certified in Florida. After certification, you will need to transfer your certification to the state you reside in. This process is called reciprocity. Approval is determined by your state’s Board of Nursing. We recommend checking with your state’s Board of Nursing to confirm eligibility requirements.
What happens if I fail the CNA exam multiple times?
If a student fails either the written or clinical portion of the CNA exam three times, they are required by the state to complete a state-approved CNA training program (typically 120 hours). After completing
that program, the student must retake both portions of the exam. This course is designed to help students pass on their first attempt.
Are there any testing accommodations Prometric offers?
Yes. Testing accommodations are available for the written exam only and require appropriate documentation completed by a qualified medical provider.
What is your refund policy?
A full refund is available if canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, all payments are final due to limited seating.
Do you guarantee that I will pass the CNA exam?
No. While this course is designed to fully prepare you, passing the exam is not guaranteed.
Can I retake the course if I do not pass?
Yes. Students may return and retake the course one time at no additional cost, space permitting.
Do you offer Spanish classes?
Yes. Spanish instruction is available and can be arranged.
Is there an age requirement
Yes. You may take the CNA exam in Florida if you are at least 18 years old, or under 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
Do I need a background check?
Yes. A Level II background screening is required in order to sit for the CNA exam in Florida.
The ORI number used for screening is EDOH0380Z.
What are the general requirements to take the CNA exam in Florida?
In Florida, you may be eligible to take the CNA exam if you meet one of the following: - You are at least 18 years old
- OR you have a high school diploma or GED
You must also complete a Level II background screening before being approved to test.
